Blackened Mahi

My husband and I ate dinner at Dos Vatos Tacos tonight. I had a grilled mahi bowl and my husband had three different tacos. Also an appetizer of chops with salsa, queso and guac. All the items were tastie and good. Good portions and satisfying. Our waitress, Stephanie was helpful and sweet. Atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Quesa Birria

Tried the QuesaBirra with Jackfruit and it was amazing. Never had jackfruit until today. I found my new food love at Dos Vatos. The Bang Bang Shrimp taco was delicious too.

Bang-Bang Shrimp

That other local taco place's "bangin shrimp" taco cant compete! Snappy fresh and lightly breaded delicious shrimp covered in an incredible sauce with the perfect balance of sweet & spice. Quesa birria is insane. Tortilla soup will change your life.

The 38th Special

When my daughter told me that Dos Vatos Tacos was the tastiest and freshest food in town, I was highly skeptical. So, being curious, I was in Neptune Beach one day and stopped in. I ordered the 38 Special and a fancy beverage. Well, i am a hard person to impress, but, this really took me by surprise. I was loving every bite of this rock shrimp in datil honey butter, papaya slaw, fried rice noodles tossed in old bay seasoning taco. In fact, I was so impressed that I went back the next day to get the sampler. I have put Dos Vatos Tacos on my highlight of the week place to go. You will not be disappointed!! Go!
